"Christmas Cars" - Episode 4

After a few days here I am with some new updates on the Dodge Charger/Ford Crown Victoria used in the movie "Christmas Cars". As I had anticipated in the last post dedicated to this model, I had mounted temporary rims borrowed from a General Lee produced by ERTL. In the meantime, however, thanks to the help of dear friend Andrea Ciardulli who assisted me in the 3D modeling, I proceeded to create new replacement rims that came as close as possible to the American Racing Vector rims mounted on the real General Lee.
Below you can see the various resin printing tests that I did up to the version that I believe to be the definitive one: the final model has not yet been painted, but this operation will be carried out when I return from the many desired holidays! In addition, in the gallery of new images you can also see the new decals that I have prepared and applied to the cut roof. Be patient then for another 2 weeks, after which I will update you with the final photos of the painted and mounted rims on the car.
But tomorrow, before leaving for the holidays, I will publish one more post dedicated to the first modifications made on the Dodge Challenger of the movie "Stand On It". I'm in a creative mood and I have to take advantage of it!
