Kawasaki CHiPs (Bike 1) - Second step
Although I have been silent for a few weeks, I did not stop: I continued working on the first CHiPs Kawasaki and I must admit I was very happy with the progress made. I painted the lateral bags and replaced the plastic antenna with a new one created with iron wire (which I will then paint white with the red tip) and I have separated the lateral sides from the rear fender, so now I can position better the same lateral sides. After Nicola's suggestion, I also lowered the tank somewhat, especially at the front (you can see it in the last photos of this series): to do this, I have enlarged a tank inlet but I also tapered a few millimeters from the chassis. As a cherry on the cake, I added the frontal extra lights and even the windshield. Of course there is still a lot of work to do: I will try to keep you updated more steadily, but if you have any suggestions, come on!
