Collier & Co.

In this period John Schneider is distributing his latest film "Smothered", a horror movie where they appear some actors become famous over the years 80/90 just for playing some characters become icons in the horror genre. So I took the opportunity to rewatch his first movie, "Collier & Co.", because I have not watched since 2006, the year of its release on DVD. Today, I propose again the 3 DVDs in my collection: the original version "Limited Edition" autographed directly from John Schneider, the version "Italian Subtitles" edited by me with subtitles in Italian language and the version "Special Edition" with double DVD, comprising several unreleased special contents. Of course, to show these DVDs, I have chosen three cars used in the film: the 2 Dodge Charger "Traveler" driven by the main character, in 2 versions disguised and clean, and the Shelby Series-1 won by the main character in a race at the beginning of the movie and used in a chase toward the end of the film.
The film, as I wrote 10 years ago, is enjoyable: a great family movie, with a good dose of car chases and healthy humor. Just wish it was never dubbed in Italian: this lack, unfortunately, has prevented a more widespread over here in Italy where instead would definitely succeed thanks to the passion for "The Dukes of Hazzard" of many of my peers. However, I take this opportunity to remind you that in the Download section you can download the subtitle file, so that you can better enjoy the film. Good vision!
