Fast & Furious 7 - My personal review
As car enthusiast, yesterday I went to see the latest chapter of the "Fast & Furious" saga. As I have said many times, I have never liked the turn that has taken this series: I loved to madness (even today) the first movie, where the real stars were the cars and simple guys who love cars. However, from the fourth movie forward, the saga has taken a turn too focused on international intrigue, shootings and fisticuffs. Cars are just an excuse to combine all of these elements within the various movies. Same thing is for the latter film, there are a lot of cars (and they are destroyed in accidents or explosions quite exciting for the viewer), but lead the way are the shootings and fights with fists between Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham ... So, now lead the way are the muscles and steroids and no longer supercharged engines and NOS, not to mention that now the laws of physics have been distorted in favor of the show. The only positive thing, of course, is the conclusion of the movies: I'll not tell you nothing (I don't want to spoiler), but it is a wonderful tribute to Paul Walker, because of his sudden death during the filming of this latest film. In short, if you are fans of the genre and of this saga not miss to go to see this movies because movies like this make a lot on the big screen ... otherwise, if you appreciate cars and the (real) world revolves around us, put on your DVD / Bluray first movie of this saga and enjoy a truly fabulous movie that still has much to say and gets old really well! In the picture below, some of my F&F diecast models and some boxes in DVD & Bluray format.
