Music Videos - Part III
Today, I would like to show you one of the latest video performed by the singer Jewel... The song is called "I Do" and it's a beautiful country song released in June. This video is very interesting not only for the music (it's the first country album for Jewel), but also because they used 2 awesome muscle cars: a grey '79 Pontiac Trans Am (driven by Jewel) and a yellow '69 Dodge Charger (driven by Ty, Jewel's husband). Moreover, I found on YouTube an explanation of this music video: "Jewel and Ty are afraid of marriage, like so many of their generation. I think the car crash is symbolic of totally surrendering one's self for the sake of the other out of love. In other words, she wants more than the game of love, she wants the real thing, which is only possible by a radical opening up of the human heart, which is like a death."
