At last... the 1966 Batmobile!!
Yesterday, I received the new 1966 Batmobile produced by Hot Wheels. This is the normal version, not the Elite or Super Elite versions, but I need to say this model is good. The shape of the body is perfect and the details are adequate. The paint is nice but in some points the red lines are not accurate (especially on the top of the rear turbine). An other fault is the opening system: only the lateral doors can be opened, while the trunk and the hood are sealed up... it's not a great result for a 1:18 diecast model... However, the model is very good (especially considering the quality/price ratio) but I think I will substitute it with the Elite version when will became available. For the moment, the new Batmobile is seated next to the other my 2 Batmobiles ("Batman" and "Batman Begins" movies").
